The Meek Shall Inherit the Earth
Today's Congressional race money bomb wasn't intended to be a bombing at all, as a presidential bombing to celebrate the holiday had been slowly trickling in all morning. Just after 3:00 PM Dr. Paul sent out the call, sighting the dirty tricks against his Texas Congressional Campaign and recent neocon victories against his incumbent friends and supporters in other districts.

Nanny Ajax's 'Pay It Forward' Campaign
Benjamin Franklin was not only an inventor of scientific novelties and necessities, he was also a Social Reform activist, creating such institutions as the lending library and the first volunteer fire department. He was also the inventor of the idea of "paying it forward". This idea can be crucial to grass-roots campaigns as resources become stretched to their limits. Typically, those involved in the grass-roots border on the impoverished either economically or in my case, physically. We know good resources are the key, but how do we utilize them most efficiently when they are so rare? By being economical, resourceful, creative and generous. Ways the Grassroots can "Pay It Forward":
Purchasable Resources: Resources purchased from grass-roots supported projects can be our most elaborate and well made. Of Particular interest are yard signs and bumper stickers. These are difficult to share as we need them to show our longstanding support. However, when you have finished your slim jim, pass it to someone else, and encourage them to do the same. Any literature or DVDs you use can also be handed to the next guy and so on. Don't hang on to these items because you cherish them for some material reason or as a souvenir. At these times, these resources must be shared and passed along as we spread our message.
Home-Made Resources: A great many of us have access to computers and the know-how to burn data onto discs. Spools of discs can be purchased at reasonable rate at overstock stores such as big lots. There are many sites where one can download audio and video that support our cause, and even you-tube users have been known to post external download links to their videos. Make an audio CD for someone's car of radio ads, appearances and speeches. Encourage them to pop it in on a long trip.
Celebrity Support: If, by some miracle, a celebrity may actually support your favored candidate, find some audio or video in which the candidate has expressed such support. Purchase the artist's work, and give it as a gift to someone who's support you hope to win. Include as a "bonus disc" the footage of the celebrity. Encourage them to pass it along to other fans!
Do you have ideas of ways in which we can "pay it forward"? Please let me know! I would love to include it.

Let Your Voice Ring Out For Generations
My mother raised me better than to adhere to stupidity, as did my father. So when I watched the following film (who's link will surely need to be updated as it is frequently removed), I was flabbergasted. Praise Him, my family raised me to not be so gullible! One must not think that this is the only evidence of American foresightedness! Monthly, Jay Leno presents his "Jaywalking" segment, another example of how truly small is America's knowledge of the rest of the world. And American's laugh this off and do nothing to educate their offspring, how can they? They know little themselves.
I am lucky enough to have memory of the wide-spread education reforms that swept through America in the late 80's and early 90's. State after state fell to adopt ridiculous measures in educating our young, philosophies our forefathers would have scoffed at and thrown in the dustbin. This widely adopted, mass education system is nothing more than another way to enforce government, gain greater control, and leave our masses illiterate as to who, why, what and where our advisories are. All that students under this system learn is write portfolios, follow forms and essentially, follow the masses. I remember how little sense it made upon their adoption, but was naive to their real purpose.
Now, the establishment has unleashed it's first generation of globally retarded spawn into the workforce and voting precincts. They know little of the world around them outside of Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and myspace. All Hail Billary and Osama! All Hail McPain! All hail the media stars of 2008! We've taught you to read and spell their names! Now go vote for them! What happened to critical thinking classes in our schools? At what point were we suddenly discouraged from thinking on our own, from reading, from intelligent conversation? I fancy an Asian way of thinking. Indeed, in their cultures, teachers and scholars are revered! Why, even in Europe, most noticeably France, an educated opinion is prized, the argument applauded! Why then do we clammer for stupidity? How can such ignorance be considered an endearment at home?
As much as this is the fault of our government, it is also the fault of parents who refuse to rear well-raised children. We must all strive to raise our babies well, and this education most certainly begins at home! If our peers of the 60's had held true to their beliefs, and in turn taught these to their offspring we would be in a much different world. However, as it stands, they saw fit to spoil and pamper. They forgot that love does not come in the form of material possessions. They stopped talking about the demonstrations of the 50's 60's and 70's, and in an effort to give their children a better and easier world, they took everything from them. They are set up to fail the moment they start Kindergarten.
A few however, did retain and pay forward their beliefs, fears, and convictions. These brave youth have come of age and do not like the debt and destruction they are inheriting. They don't like the way the world sees America and they don't enjoy being the laughing stock of the entire planet! Many go out into the world with full realization of the ambassadors that they are. They fight every day to combat the ignorance running rampant at home. These well raised youths must be applauded! It is a triumph to succeed in spite of one's teachers, schools and universities.
Happily, all my little ones attended private education institutions, generally run by religious entities, and I have taught frequently in these schools. One may dismiss such an education, but it is free of the bureaucracy of tax dollars, and the parents are much more involved. Also, they learn critical thinking skills as they are taught to view everything from a more spiritual perspective. They are taught to investigate and question, and are more likely to embrace prejudices at home towards imminent historical figures. For example, we had quite the debate over a curriculum for Abe Lincoln. Today, the government seeks to close or regulate these fine institutions. I believe this to be a moral outrage. The last destitute of fine education is now threatened and we have only ourselves, a small populous, to defend us.
If it is necessary to keep your child in public school, stay involved! Ask them about their lessons! Show them what you were taught. Children are interested, and showing them that they do have a say-so in the world instills confidence and well-meaning action! Teach them that life's problems need not be handled by a pistol, but by positive and assertive action. Do not let anyone squelch their voice, in turn your's will also be heard for generations to come.

This story fills my heart full of warm fuzziness. To my surprise there are those who would still stand up for me, for you, for all of us! In recent days I had truly began to question their existence. So much of what we used to know to be right and good is being stamped out, replaced with devilish measures which bring no grace to the common good. Yet, here I see one of our well-raised taking a stand against tyranny. I wonder if he finds courage in the recent courageous voices who are speaking out all across our great land. Wasn't in Thomas Jefferson who encouraged a Revolution in all generations? It seems we are very much due one.
Oh, but why couldn't we have taken better care until now, when we must fight to beat back the oppressors. I pray we never fall so deep into stupidity again.

The House passed the contempt resolution against White House chief of staff Josh Bolten and Harriet Miers, 223-32. Most Republicans, having staged their walk out, did not vote.
I do hope some grass-roots activists take the initiative to alert their constituents.
Attorney General Michael Mukasey is expected to decline to enforce the citation of contempt, since both Bolten and Miers declined to testify as a result of an assertion of executive privilege. The resolution included both a criminal contempt citation and the authorization for the House Judiciary Committee to sue the White House if Mukasey refuses to enforce the citation.
When asked by congress to testify on matters related to the FISA bill, the Bush Administration won't budge. FISA is a bill in which they wire tap telephone calls, and provide immunity to telecom companies for violating the laws.
Three Republicans voted to hold them in contempt: Ron Paul, Jones of North Carolina, and Gilchrest.
Honestly, the breath of the Republican Party appears to the whole of America as a huge play-pin, with the tantrums they throw! A walk out indeed, and just what did that accomplish? All the same in the end by any standard. Probably the whole of Congress was relieved to be able to finally conduct business without them. And those poor sensible three, at least they were not lonely, and had good company.
How is it that an entire flock of fearful men were elected to represent such a proud populous! Indeed, there must be braver men who do not fear the truth and do not flinch at protecting the liberties our ancestors died for! I see in my peers a new America! One of roots and history and blood! No longer do we come from this place or that, we come from here, for as far back as our generations can go. Who among you cannot claim Cherokee or Pawnee or Souix? How many of us can claim proud ancestry to our first Revolutionaries, or to the fallen brothers and cousins in the war between the States. Those who were once brought here in chains have also found a brother who died for their cause, and many were beaten and beggard in the fight. Our fathers and uncles and friends wore the colors which protected us and many of those never again saw the faces of those they loved.
Many times in history they have accused us of being weak as a people, as being unable to come together to fight for one another. I cannot claim for certain what our Forefathers left us to fight for, but I do know that no matter how diverse our population we have always come together to protect one another. In times past, alas, we were not so corrupt. How spoiled are you old-farts in power now! What in heaven's name happened to you? How dare you litter our airwaves with your agenda! I even fear the PBS! Praise heaven for books and circular subscriptions.
In short, the Republican party needs a good thrashing about the head and shoulders! Some time on the naughty mat might help afterwards, but one must insist upon the thrashing. It's rude to walk out during business, especially with such distinguished gentlemen present. Who shall be left when the Cowards fall?

Where am I going and why am I in this handbasket?
Good God! It is the stupidity of man, which I have recently come to know, that is our most distasteful trait! Even the most well-meaning have given themselves up to purely selfish ends. What a mockery we make of ourselves by being the slaves to our own folly. No person should champion anyone or anything noteworthy, but instead be resigned to follow all the other sheep to slaughter! Perhaps the horse who is insistent on running back into the burning barn is a better analogy.
Oh, how we torture ourselves, and allow ourselves to be tortured. Where did these bastards who tell us what to do come from? Had they no mothers such as mine, that took them to church and scrubbed their faces with a perfume scented tissue from a linty coat pocket, spat upon with Mother's Formula 409? Had they no father like mine, who disarmed backtalk with slight, yet painful gestures. Are these people even real, or are they some evil creation manipulated to destroy mankind. What sinister being could possibly invent what we do to ourselves and each other.
Even those who would speak-out are lack-lustered by their own corruption. Show the slightest spark of initiative and one is ignored, blocked out by some rampantly stupid jealousy. Stamped out, not to further the cause, but to suppress one who may outdo another. In the end, we must all succeed alone, for we refuse to help each other. I hope we all manage to refrain from being too lunatic before it is all said and done.
It has been 6 days since I have turned on my television. I praise God I was never stupid enough to pay for cable.
